$38-42 Experience/S.o.W:
Coordinate and deliver materials onsite Measuring, cutting and labeling flooring products. Performing Inventory control and other inventory- related activities. Loading subcontractor vehicles with flooring material and supplies for customer orders. Strong computer skills Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned. Need to have 5+ years of experience working in a Warehouse.Areas of responsibility will include:
- Plan, assign and delegate/direct work for team members to meet production demands, schedules, quality, and quantity requirements.
- Achieve inventory accuracy, coordinating order fulfilment, and tracking shipping times.
- Institute routine physical inventory counts and where there are discrepancies, investigate and take corrective actions.
- Delegate and coordinate assignments as necessary to effectively utilize team members, equipment, and materials for production.
- Coach/train team members on areas such as performance, quality, and safety.
- Maintain daily communication with team members.
- Manage timesheets, coordinate vacation and absences ensuring necessary coverage.
- Partake in team problem solving and preventative/corrective action as required.
- Direct, supervise, and coordinate operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and education.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
- Ability to operate job specific tools and equipment skillfully and safely.
- 3 to 5 years+ experience in a supervisory/leadership role in manufacturing, logistics/warehouse or distribution.
- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse/distribution role required.
- Experience with training and development, conflict resolution, and coordination of large teams.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
- Ability to use MS Office applications.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse/distribution processes.
