About Us:
We are Wagner Foodservice, a one of a kind food distribution company location in Glen Burnie, MD. For over 50 years we have been providing various food products and services to a number establishments within a 100 mile radius. We deliver food to restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc. and we provide service by installing, maintaining, and repairing dishware and beverage equipment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
: This role is responsible for overseeing the order selection process within the warehouse, managing a team of order selectors, and ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The Warehouse Manager will be expected to optimize warehouse processes and ensure compliance with safety and inventory management procedures. Knowledge of warehouse logistics/operations and OSHA regulations, and strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

7pm
JOB DUTIES
: Oversee all night operations during overnight shift hours. Delegates tasks effectively and provides guidance to ensure all products are properly selected, staged, and loaded onto trucks in a timely manner. Ensures operational productivity levels are set, maintained, and continuously improved. Manages inventory levels and replenishment needs. Ensures all warehouse operations follow occupational health and safety standards. Creates and maintains employee weekly work schedules. Oversees new and existing employee training. Maintains documentation and keeps accurate records of warehouse activities. Maintains warehouse equipment and documents and reports all needed repairs. Mediates employee discord when applicable. Collaborates with internal departments to communicate warehouse needs, issues, and expectations. Takes the place of absent employees when needed to support warehouse operations. Conduct and document performance reviews with each staff member on an annual basis or when required by the company.
COMPETENCIES
: Knowledge and understanding of warehouse management procedures. Able to communicate efficiently and clearly with warehouse employees and internal departments. Ability to anticipate staffing and training needs. Strong knowledge of safety management standards. Ability to understand and execute company specific processes to meet expectations. Ability to facilitate a team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years' experience of warehouse management. Must have experience with inventory control. Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Work entire shift standing and walking. Available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as per business necessity.
