Early first shift | 5:00 AM start time A well-established organization within the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Site Manager to lead daily operations at a fast-paced distribution facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operations leader who enjoys developing teams, building strong customer relationships, and driving safety, productivity, and operational performance. The Opportunity The Warehouse Site Manager will have overall responsibility for daily site operations and the warehouse team. This leader will oversee workforce performance, staffing, safety, customer service, reporting, and financial performance while ensuring the operation consistently meets service expectations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of progressive leadership experience within warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, or a similar industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse operations with safety, service, and efficiency as top priorities Manage, coach, and develop warehouse associates Communicate expectations regarding productivity, service levels, accountability, attendance, and performance Schedule staffing based on operational and customer requirements Interview, hire, onboard, and train new associates Monitor productivity and address performance concerns as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Conduct regular safety meetings and encourage associate participation Maintain accurate daily operational logs and reporting Review and audit labor, billing, payroll, and operational data Ensure accurate and timely data entry for services performed Complete daily operational closeout procedures Document and resolve customer service and associate concerns Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the onsite customer Assist with site and departmental budget management Review financial performance and identify opportunities to improve operational results Qualifications 3+ years of management or leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, or an industrial environment Proven experience supervising warehouse employees, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop frontline teams Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience managing budgets and reviewing or interpreting P&L statements Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customer partners Flexibility with start times and days worked based on business needs, including occasional weekends and holidays Warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL) experience is strongly preferred. A bachelor's or associate degree is a plus; however, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Physical Requirements This position operates in an active warehouse environment and may require: Standing for extended periods Working on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures Safely operating material-handling equipment as needed Lifting up to 75 lbs.
