Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Delivery Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring a smooth and thorough onboarding process. This role focuses on guiding customers through the initial setup and use of various applications and features that enhance vehicle ownership. The Delivery Coordinator must be detail-oriented and technically adept, as certain tasks are tied to the sales team's pay plan, including GM's requirements for mobile app installation and welcome call completion.
Responsibilities:
Mobile App Setup:
Assist customers in downloading and setting up the My Rewards App on their smartphones.
App Orientation:
Guide customers through the app's functions, ensuring they can access key features and understand its benefits.
Blue Button Welcome Call:
Facilitate the Blue Button Welcome Call, ensuring a smooth process and verifying completion as part of the GM pay plan requirements.
Feature Review:
Provide a comprehensive review of the vehicle's features, answering any technical questions and ensuring customer understanding.
Dealership Tour:
Conduct a welcoming tour of the dealership, introducing the customer to the facility and amenities.
Service Team Introduction:
Personally introduce the customer to key members of the service team and ensure they feel comfortable returning for future service needs.
First Service Appointment:
Schedule the customer's first service appointment approximately three months after delivery, reinforcing the dealership's commitment to ongoing support.
Survey Preparation:
Review a sample Chevrolet survey with the customer, highlighting the goal of achieving a "completely satisfied" rating on each question. Address any potential areas of concern to ensure all questions will receive the highest rating.
CSI Follow-Up:
Responsible for conducting timely follow-up with customers after vehicle purchase or service to ensure satisfaction and address any immediate concerns. Maintain ongoing communication with customers through scheduled check-ins, service reminders, and relationship-building outreach to promote retention, loyalty, and positive CSI scores. Identify and escalate unresolved issues, gather feedback, and support continuous improvement of the overall customer experience.
Lease Follow-Up:
Proactively contact customers with 12 months or less remaining on their lease. Work closely with the management team to determine whether ending the lease early would benefit the customer and allow them to take advantage of current manufacturer or dealership promotions. Maintain regular communication and support these customers throughout the remainder of their lease term, including through lease expiration.
Qualifications:
Strong technical aptitude, particularly with smartphone apps and in-vehicle technology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple steps in the delivery process. Familiarity with Chevrolet technology and applications is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with the sales and service teams to support their goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Potential for performance-based bonuses or incentives.
Schedule:
Mondays & Thursdays 12pm to 6pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 12pm to 5:30pm
