Job Description
We are searching for an experienced manager to run our Event Rental Warehouse and Delivery Operations. We are a small, family owned business, so this person would manager warehouse daily operations, lead our warehouse staff and also step in to be a team player as needed. The job includes a variety of tasks, including being a master tent installer, delivery driver (box trucks) and warehouse responsibilities. This position is great for someone who is a hard worker, on time, takes pride in their work, and enjoys a different task each day. Someone who likes working with their hands, working outside or in a warehouse, and working with a team. Some, but not all Job Responsibilities include: Leadership experience required Can lead staff, a smaller crew in the winter and larger crew in the summer. Expert team player in tent installations, deliveries & loading/unloading Handle hiring, training, scheduling of warehouse staff Oversee the delivery schedule & assigning drivers/trucks Oversee all loading and unloading of material & ensure correct counts Ensuring that warehouse is kept neat and tidy and organized, inventory is being maintained & accounted for. Yearly inventory counts Communicating with owner & sales leads to keep a well connected team overall. Focus on efficiency Be positive and outgoing to help build that in our company culture Exemplifies company policies Help improve the business with training, suggestions & ownership of the warehouse Delivering party rental equipment to customers Setting up tents, tables, chairs, and other inventory as needed Mastering all equipment details and set up procedures Load and unload customer orders to work box trucks using proper strapping techniques or in customer vehicles Drive box trucks for deliveries and event set ups & then unload all materials (non cdl) Be able to lift 50 to 75lbs Oversee and maintain rental inventory, cleanliness and repairs on all inventory products as if they were your own products Cleaning all products Interact with customer for customer pickups at store location and on-site deliveries Counting products and filling out forms Work outside in all weather conditions Driving machinery as needed Online training courses to grow your knowledge and understanding of the rental industry Store snow removal & minor lawn care during winter/summer
