The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient transportation and distribution activities. This role also requires travel to different project sites to oversee and assist. See important note below. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. Coordinate and organize all materials needed for projects and schedule delivery. Manage and communicate installer schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, materials handling, and warehouse safety standards. Supervise warehouse staff. Travel to projects to assist with installation and other various projects. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Basic computer knowledge and skills. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Effective communicator with other staff and customers. Proficiency with forklift operation certification is preferred. Extensive handyman like skill set. Floorcovering and carpet installation experience preferred.
Note:
the person hired for this position will start in the truck doing deliveries and take up of old flooring. As the person gains experience, they will eventually transition into the position of warehouse manager. This will more than likely be a 90 day transition period. The salary will increase with responsibility. Benefits available after 90 days.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
