Job Summary:
Zoltek is looking for a Warehouse Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution operations at the Composites Intermediates facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Place top priority on all employee's safety at all times Ensure all personnel are correctly utilizing PPE and safety devices Maintain a safe, ethical and clean work environment Be knowledgeable about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures, including emergency shut-down, power loss and evacuation procedures. Maintain quality and safety on the shift by enforcing and monitoring established standards and procedures Oversight and management of warehouse operations, including responsibility for all warehouse personnel involved in ordering, planning, receiving, storing, and shipping materials Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping. Maintain and update work instructions or procedures when changes occur Assign only trained personnel to job functions Resolve personnel problems by investigating issues, analyzing data, identifying solutions, and recommending actions. Provide timely, honest, and constructive feedback to personnel regarding matters related to safety, performance, behavior, etc. Inspect physical conditions of warehouse equipment and building and take appropriate action to correct issues Forecast and purchase raw materials to prevent shortages negatively impacting production Clear communication with vendors/suppliers Monitor consumptions of raw materials to ensure accuracy Monitor finished goods inventory levels by type to optimize correct product Reconcile monthly cycle counts Ensure accurate and on time delivery to our customers Timely and accurate updates to reporting, including internal and external reporting (i.e. coil report, AX, etc) as required Effectively communicate with other departments Develop storage and demand models Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging materials Other duties or tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications :
5+ years of warehouse/manufacturing supervisory experience required Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent job experience preferred Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs Experience with developing, implementing, and sustaining raw material and finished goods inventory systems Experience with inventory movement and levels for raw materials and on time shipments to the customer Highly developed EQ (emotional intelligence); specifically related to strong self-awareness of emotions and the ability to self-regulate Ability to maintain a positive demeanor/outlook when addressing personnel in all situations Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal and written) in an effective, constructive manner. Specifically, Warehouse Manager must display the ability to actively listen, identify and be sensitive towards non-verbal communication, show empathy towards others, diffuse and/or resolve conflict, and make recommendations Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate personnel Highly motivated and self-directed Strong organizational and documentation skills
Computer Skills:

Physical Requirements:
