Senior Director of IT & Warehouse Operations Job Summary The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and plant operations at Sun Mountain Sports, ensuring efficient production support, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution of products. This role drives operational excellence, safety, team leadership, and continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of quality and on-time delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides direct leadership to the Facilities Coordinator, QA Coordinator, Bag Assembly Coordinator, Maintenance and Inventory Lead. Maintains full oversight of warehouse operations, Duties /Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Coordinates plant activities through planning with Production Managers and Line Supervisors to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished promptly, cost-effectively, and safely.
  • Coordinate effectively with administration, sourcing and product development for build schedules, packaging specifications and other order fulfillment efficiencies.
  • Ensure efficient flow of goods from inbound to outbound processes.
  • Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Ensures that quality is a priority throughout the facility.
  • Monitor KPIs such as safety, order accuracy, fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy, quality control and labor productivity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through audits and cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or plant management.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move between warehouse locations as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work on a computer for long periods of time. Preferred Experience
  • Experience in sporting goods, apparel, or consumer products industry.
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with seasonal demand planning.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment.
  • Financial and budgeting experience.

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
