We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) operations within Amazon Logistics . In this role, you'll drive efficiency, manage daily operations, and lead a high-performing delivery team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, inventory management, and people development.

Your Daily Impact:

Schedule Management:

Develop, oversee, and adjust staff schedules to align with operational needs while ensuring coverage during high-volume events (HVEs).

Dispatch & Workflow Coordination:

Act as a dispatcher by efficiently allocating resources, coordinating workflows, and managing real-time operational adjustments.

Problem Solving & Decision Making:

Proactively address logistical challenges, staffing issues, or unexpected delays, using quick and effective decision-making to minimize disruptions.

Communication & Reporting:

Maintain clear and timely communication with leadership & owners, provide updates on operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and objectives. Basics:

Must be 21 years or older Able to pass a 7-year background check Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Clean driving record , demonstrating 7 years of responsible driving behavior Must live within a 45-minute commute of Asheville Regional Airport Reliable transportation and dependable childcare arrangements (if applicable) Work schedule : (2) 12-hour shifts + (3) 6-hour shifts per week = 5 shifts/week Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed (361days/year) Prior supervisory experience overseeing a minimum of 10 reports Satisfactory ability to safely operate company vehicle effectively Ability to lift, push, pull, etc. up to 50lbs.
