Aerospace/Precision Manufacturing Employbridge is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee all inbound and outbound material flow within an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, compliant documentation, proper packaging, and on-time shipment of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and flight-critical hardware. This position is customer-facing and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company effectively when coordinating shipments, resolves issues, and supporting customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidates thrives in a fast-paced work environment, communicates with urgency, and maintains exceptional accuracy and traceability.

What You'll Do:

Receive raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and outsourced services Verify packing slips, certs, quantities, and part numbers Perform/coordinate receiving inspection per AS9100 Tag materials for full traceability and segregate nonconforming items Prepare and package shipments, including flight-critical hardware Generate packing lists and shipping documents (ERP + carrier platforms) Communicate with customers on shipment status, documentation, and scheduling Coordinate domestic and international shipments Maintain certification packets and shipping records Support inventory accuracy, ERP transactions, and cycle counts Operate forklifts and maintain a clean, organized 5S shipping area

What We're Looking For:

Shipping/receiving or logistics experience (manufacturing or aerospace preferred) Knowledge of AS9100 requirements ERP and shipping software experience Strong forklift/material handling skills High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Professional customer service and communication skills Nice to

Have:

Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field Experience with traceability and controlled materials Packaging experience with high-value or flight-critical components Knowledge of export regulations
