Job Description

NorthBridge Building Products, a leader in distributing commercial building products in the New England Market, is looking to hire a Warehouse and Fleet Manager for its new location in Manchester, NH. The Warehouse and Fleet Manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately the manager should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. This manager should be able to collaborate with other warehouse and fleet managers across the New England market to achieve highest customer satisfaction. We are looking for a working manager who can hop on a forklift as needed to help with the team when we are short on staff as well.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies. Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.) Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
