Role:
We are looking for an experienced 3PL Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee operations in a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing warehouse staff, and a deep understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and customer service in a 3PL setting.Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Inventory Control
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and ensure accuracy. Team Leadership & Staffing
- Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety regulations. Process Improvement & Cost Control
- Identify areas for operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity through lean warehouse management practices. Client & Vendor Relations
- Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and resolving any warehouse-related issues promptly. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing best practices. Technology & Systems Management
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize workflow, improve accuracy, and streamline operations. KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and warehouse efficiency, providing regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a 3PL logistics environment . Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols . Ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to changing demands. Strong communication and customer service skills. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.Benefits:
