Job Description

Job Purpose Superior Fence & Rail is an industry leader with multiple branch locations across the USA. We partner with a national home improvement chain, multiple home builders and general contractors for fence installation requirements. Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured production process and complete required training. The typical work week is Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Lead a crew to produce fencing orders in a timely manner while maintaining the integrity of the products and ensuring superior workmanship. Primary Responsibilities Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas. Ensure Breakdowns are accurate, complete & turned into office manager daily. Learn and maintain knowledge of how to pull orders and ensure all jobs are loaded correctly. Ensure that all orders are pulled and processed in the appropriate allotted time. Manage all returning re-claim job materials and have them cleaned, buffed polished, modified when needed and immediately return to inventory PAR. Receive truckload and less than truckload (LTL) shipments and reconcile with purchase orders. Order and track job lot special orders and chain-link orders Ensure that the yard and work areas are maintained in an organized manner. Coach and counsel production team as needed. Ensure that the team is consistently meeting routing efficiency to meet Superior Fence & Rail standards. Ensure quality control inspections are being done in a consistent manner. Supervise production team to determine consistency and accuracy of orders being pulled. Operate the CNC router to fabricate vinyl fence (programing new cuts when needed) Drive truck & trailer to and from job sites when needed. Some travel may be required. Maintain a perpetual tool inventory for all power & hand tools as well as light equipment. Execute accurate monthly inventory of all materials including but not limited to PVC, Wood, Aluminum, Chain-Link. Maintain and oversee PM program for all vehicles, trailers & heavy equipment to prevent failures costly down time and accidents. Ensure that all team members operate in a safe and efficient manner. Perform other duties as assigned with a positive attitude. Facilities & MEP Maintenance. Oversees facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality, performing routine mechanical and plumbing checks and coordinating repairs as needed.
Skills and Experience Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Skilled in verbal and written communications. Previous construction experience is preferred (fencing, framing, roofing carpentry) Candidate will be detail oriented Candidate must have the ability to learn all the products used and be able to locate product in the shop and yard. The successful candidate will have organizational and time management skills. Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong and positive work ethic. Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet. Ability to work independently. Forklift certification. Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers. Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
