Job Description

Coastal Employment is currently seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Millwork Delivery Helper for one of our valued clients. If you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, being part of a team, and taking pride in delivering quality materials that help bring projects to life—this opportunity could be for you! As a Millwork Delivery Helper , you'll support daily deliveries of millwork products including doors, windows, trim, molding, and related materials to contractors, job sites, and customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, values teamwork, and understands the importance of customer service and attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist the delivery driver with loading, securing, transporting, and unloading millwork materials Help deliver doors, windows, trim, molding, and related building products safely and efficiently Verify materials before departure to ensure orders are accurate and complete Carefully handle products to prevent damage during transportation and delivery Support timely deliveries while maintaining a professional and customer-friendly attitude Assist with organizing and maintaining a clean delivery vehicle and work area Communicate effectively with contractors, customers, and job site personnel Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements Complete delivery paperwork and assist with obtaining customer confirmations when needed
What We're Looking For:
✔ Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic ✔ Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment ✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ✔ Customer-friendly attitude and professional communication skills ✔ Previous delivery, warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred ✔ Forklift experience is a plus but not required ✔ Team player willing to jump in and support where needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly Comfortable getting in and out of delivery vehicles throughout the day Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and moving materials Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
