Job Description

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Job description: Do you have at least 3 years of senior management experience leading a warehouse team? Are you great at running operations, multi-tasking and problem solving? We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Schedule:
Need open availability. Typically work Tue-Sat. 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Paid Time Off 401K Match Employee Discount Responsibilities Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies Plan work by assigning tasks appropriately and appraise results Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Skills Proven work experience as a warehouse manager Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Leadership skills and ability manage staff Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Do you have open availability for working? What is the largest warehouse team you have managed? We are not looking to hire a current Assistant Manager nor Supervisor nor Shift Leader. We are looking for someone with General Management experience for a large operation. We need someone with Senior Management experience. Can you lift and maneuver large pieces of furniture (beds, dressers, sofas etc.? Can you help load and unload furniture daily? Can you use basic hand tools and assemble furniture?
