Visit our website to learn more: www.repurposedmaterialsinc.com We have an immediate full-time opening for a Retail Manager to independently manage the day-to-day operations of one of our retail locations. This is a hands-on management position . You will be responsible for creating a great customer experience, driving sales, maintaining an organized and attractive showroom, managing inventory, coordinating warehouse activities, and leading your team. You will work closely with our corporate team and be responsible for the overall performance and appearance of your location. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail location independently. Provide excellent customer service and help customers find creative solutions for their projects. Answer product questions and educate customers on available materials. Complete sales transactions and operate the point-of-sale system. Drive sales and work toward established sales goals. Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive showroom and retail space. Ensure products are properly priced, labeled, displayed, and stocked. Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy. Receive incoming materials and ensure products are properly processed and put away. Coordinate shipping and customer pickups. Load and unload customers, commercial LTL and FTL carriers using a forklift when necessary. Work with third-party shipping brokers to coordinate transportation. Supervise, train, and provide direction to retail/warehouse associates. Hold employees accountable for performance, safety, attendance, and customer service. Lead by example and create a positive, productive work environment. Maintain a safe and organized facility and yard. Complete daily operational tasks and meet deadlines. Communicate with leadership regarding sales, inventory, staffing, and operational needs. Identify opportunities to improve sales, merchandising, customer service, and store operations. The Following Requirements Are a Must Ability to engage with customers and confidently answer product questions. Sales and customer service experience. Experience supervising or leading employees. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with inventory control; inventory accuracy is critical. Experience working in a retail, warehouse, customer service, or similar environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to lead by example. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus. Forklift experience is preferred. Ability to load and unload materials safely. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in both a showroom/retail environment and warehouse/yard environment. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
