SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse manager to join our team at our Camfil USA warehouse in Nashville, TN! You will responsible for developing and maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational accountability, and personnel policies and procedures. You will develop training programs, and activities to monitor and improve quality of service and customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary for the position. Organizes and implements workflow and processes to improve efficiencies, productivity and customer service, following up on work results. Develops metrics for department to drive results. Conduct performance evaluations for all subordinates. Ensures the safety of staff employed in the warehouse. Responsible for accuracy of warehouse finished goods and raw materials by overseeing Inventory Control and cycle count process. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning, material flow, throughput, storage, equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Ability to analyze data to initiate process improvements through a Lean Culture. Collaborates with department leaders to prioritize workload and ensure daily company metrics are met. Maintaining positive communication with customer service ensuring relevant information is processed timely and accurately. Develops and maintains partnerships with local freight representatives ensuring service and quality expectations are met consistently. This position manages all employees of the warehouse shipping and receiving departments. Position is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required. Minimum of 5 or more years of progressive warehouse and shipping management experience. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in an organizational culture of high performance, employee involvement, and continuous improvement and team concepts. Logistics experience. Proven ability to solve complex problems. Ability to partner with internal and external customers. A very high degree of professionalism, detail orientation, high productivity, flexibility, and enthusiasm are required in this role. Strong knowledge of and extensive experience with ERP tools/principles. Proficient with PCs and Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access). Understanding of Lean Principles.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
