About us ABI Windows is a new and developing business in Abilene, TX. We are professional and fast-paced enviornment seeking to hire first-shift, full-time Shipping Manager.

Summary:
As a Shipping Manager you will oversee all aspects of shipping operations, including coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving any issues that arise. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the shipping and receiving department Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping activities Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of products Oversee loading and unloading of trucks Maintain inventory accuracy and perform regular cycle counts Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping-related issues Train and develop team members on proper shipping procedures Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Monitor productivity levels and implement process improvements as needed
Skills:
To be successful in this role, the Shipping Manager should possess the following skills: Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, logistics, and warehouse operations Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift safely Proficiency in inventory management systems Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively If you are a motivated individual with a passion for logistics and team management, we would love to hear from you.
