The Warehouse Manager is responsible for training and development of warehouse staff, efficiency of warehouse operations and overall divisional warehouse functions.Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales Support and enforce safety programs and guidelines Select, train, direct and motivate employees Appraise performance and recommend salary actions Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of stock Insure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded Insure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits Insure all DPT rules and regulations are strictly enforced Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products Additional duties or special projects as assigned.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to multi-task Bachelor's degree preferred.
