Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, distribution, transportation planning, and process improvement initiatives. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize inventory control, and ensure seamless order fulfillment across our operations. Swan Stonarts is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping. This position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time while maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse. This is a working manager position. The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee warehouse activities while also actively participating in picking, packing, loading, unloading, shipping, and staff training as needed. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse organization. Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, training, and accountability for warehouse staff while fostering a professional, team-oriented work environment. Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to plan, prioritize, and schedule daily and weekly warehouse activities and shipments. Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to ensure customer orders are prioritized, processed accurately, and shipped on time. Manage the picking, packing, staging, and shipping of customer orders and perform final quality-control checks before shipment. Maintain accurate inventory records, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts. Oversee the use of barcode and RFID scanners and internal ERP systems to accurately track inventory movement. Coordinate outbound shipments with trucking companies, common carriers, and LTL providers and ensure shipments are dispatched in a timely manner. When needed, actively participate in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Communicate order issues, inventory discrepancies, product damage, and shipment delays to the appropriate departments in a timely manner. Establish, document, and continuously improve warehouse processes and procedures to increase accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and ensure all warehouse activities are performed in accordance with established safety procedures. Set and uphold high standards for workplace conduct, teamwork, productivity, accuracy, and customer service. Qualifications Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Minimum 5 years of warehouse and inventory experience , preferably in a lead or supervisory capacity Previous warehouse leadership or management experience strongly preferred Forklift operating experience required Experience using barcode scanners, RFID, and inventory management systems Comfortable using ERP software and other computer-based systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and similar business applications Strong inventory management, record-keeping, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly Ability to prioritize multiple orders and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong oral and written communication skills in English Strong basic math skills Self-motivated, dependable, positive, and team-oriented Strong customer service mindset and ability to work effectively across departments Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and regularly work in an active warehouse environment Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 60 lbs.
