In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring efficient transportation, warehouse management, and supply chain coordination. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall service quality. This position offers a dynamic environment where proactive management and strategic planning are key to success. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of distribution operations, including transportation planning, warehouse management, and order fulfillment. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives utilizing lean principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste. Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control and efficient logistics execution. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to optimize freight movements and shipping schedules. Monitor profit & loss statements, manage budgeting processes, and analyze supply chain analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities. Supervise warehouse supervisors and logistics teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies across all distribution activities. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision, transportation management, or supply chain operations with a strong background in logistics management. Demonstrated ability to manage profit & loss responsibilities and execute process improvements using lean methodologies. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite, inventory management tools, and supply chain analytics platforms. Extensive knowledge of distribution operations, freight shipping & receiving, procurement, production planning, and materials management. Strong team management skills complemented by excellent managerial communication abilities. Hands-on experience with warehouse experience systems such as WMS or Warehouse Management System platforms. Supervising experience in a fast-paced logistics environment with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
