We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations, maintain the facility, and help our business grow. This role combines management responsibilities with physical, on-the-floor work. You'll lead a team AND personally help maintain the warehouse, clean rooms, replace equipment, and ensure customers have a safe, exciting experience. Position Overview The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, inventory, facility setup, and staff coordination. This is a leadership role for someone who is organized, dependable, physically capable, and excited to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Warehouse & Facility Operations Clean rage rooms and axe throwing lanes after each session. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Replace damaged rage room equipment, tools, props, and targets. Swap out and secure axe boards; maintain axe lanes for safety. Restock smashable items, safety gear, axes, tools, and supplies. Perform basic repairs and maintenance throughout the warehouse. Set up decorations, themed rooms, and event displays. Improve warehouse layout and customer flow as needed. Inventory & Transportation Track and manage all warehouse inventory. Safely drive the company truck for local and out-of-state supply pickups. Lift and carry heavy equipment and boxes (up to 50+ lbs). Build relationships with local suppliers, junk haulers, and recycling centers. Secure bulk or discounted items regularly to reduce costs. Team Leadership Lead by example — this is a manager role with hands-on responsibilities. Train staff in safety, cleaning, equipment usage, and customer flow. Create staff schedules when needed and ensure proper coverage. Maintain a positive, productive team environment. Ensure all staff follow safety rules and customer protocols. Customer & Event Support Assist with event setups (birthdays, corporate events, private sessions). Interact professionally with customers when needed. Help drive group bookings and corporate partnerships. Represent Roaring Rage Room positively within the community. Safety & Compliance Conduct daily checks of axes, gear, safety equipment, and protective tools. Report and resolve hazards immediately. Enforce all company safety guidelines for staff and customers. Maintain compliance with rage room and axe throwing safety standards. Requirements Age 25+ (insurance requirement). 1-2 years of managerial or team leadership experience required. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks daily. Comfortable driving a truck; clean driving record. Ability to travel out of state occasionally for supply pickups. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Basic maintenance or handyman skills (preferred but not required).
