Overview Company Overview Dagger Machinery is an equipment dealer in Fargo, North Dakota, specializing in used construction and agriculture machinery. We are seaking a Machinery Sales and Yard Manager to lead our equipment sales initiatives and oversee yard operations. This pivotal role combines strategic business development with hands-on management of machinery sales, client relationships, yard logistics, yard and machine maintenance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, leveraging their technical, mechanical expertise and leadership skills to drive growth, meet or exceed sales targets, and ensure seamless yard operations. Join us to play a key role in expanding our market presence while managing a dynamic yard facility with efficiency and professionalism. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote machinery and equipment to new and existing clients. Lead business development efforts through warm calling, networking, and targeted marketing campaigns to generate new leads and expand customer base. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through deal closing, ensuring client needs are met with tailored solutions. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong relationships. Oversee yard operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, yard maintenance, cleaning and repairing of machinery assets. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of machinery specifications, industry trends, effectively communicate value propositions to clients. Ability to work outside in changing conditions Standard hours with rare nights and weekends Skills Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals. Expertise in business development strategies including marketing initiatives and client relationship management. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients professionally via phone calls, meetings, and written correspondence. Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategic plans accordingly. Demonstrated leadership and ability to work alone. Familiarity with managing customer accounts effectively to ensure client satisfaction and retention. General mechanical knowledge a must. Ability to operate farm and construction equipment. Ability to lift 50lbs on a daily basis. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
