Delivery Manager

We provide a range of home delivery and final mile logistics solutions for world-class retailers of furniture, appliances and other big and bulky merchandise. We are currently in need of an experienced Home Delivery Operations Manager to oversee one of our furniture and appliance home delivery operations in the New Braunfels, TX area. This leader will help to oversee our network of independent home delivery contract carriers, partner with and serve our clients, and make sure that each and every delivery customer has an amazing delivery experience. This associate's key skills will include contract carrier recruiting, computer-based routing system knowledge, MicroSoft 365 applications, verifiable customer service excellence, above-average verbal and electronic communication skills, adherence to established processes, process development ability and team leadership skills. Minimum 1 year experience in 3PL or a related logistics is required Excellent organization and critical thinking skills required Strong Oral and Verbal communication skills required Ability to positively motivate others in the work environment A professional appearance and demeanor Ability to produce and execute orientation plans and performance improvement plans with new and existing carrier partners Proficient Outlook and Excel skills DOT and Federal regulations knowledge Budget and expense tracking and evaluation skills Experience resolving property damage and merchandise claims Flexibility of schedule is required. Early morning work hours are required. Candidates with home delivery experience and network connections in the I-35 area contract carrier community are preferred.
