US & Canada Lead Auditors Role Purpose:
Lead the delivery of Retail & Hospitality assurance programmes across the United States and Canada, ensuring operational excellence, effective auditor management, capacity planning, and successful client delivery. Manage and develop regional Lead Auditors while supporting business growth, service quality, and customer satisfaction across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of Retail & Hospitality assurance programmes across the USA and Canada.
  • Manage and develop the regional Lead Auditor team.
  • Ensure audit schedules, resource allocation, and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Drive auditor utilisation, capacity planning, recruitment, and competence management.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational and delivery issues.
  • Support mobilisation of new clients and expansion of existing programmes.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager, Global Operations Manager, and Business Support teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
  • Monitor operational performance across a growing portfolio of North American customers.
  • Support business growth, service excellence, and delivery performance across the region.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience managing auditors, assessors, inspectors, or operational field teams.
  • Strong understanding of audit delivery, planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within food safety, hospitality, retail, restaurant, supply chain, or assurance environments.
  • Ability to manage remote teams across multiple locations.
  • Qualified Food Safety Auditor.
  • Experience working with multi-site restaurant, retail, or hospitality clients.
  • Knowledge of contractor auditor management and regional delivery models.
  • Ability to lead operational performance across the USA and Canada.
  • Experience supporting customer delivery, resource planning, and service excellence initiatives.
