Job Description

Warehouse Manager, Utah SKI Gear.
Overall objective:
To oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing and restocking inventory at both locations.
Major Duties:
Management of receiving processes Accurately receive inventory in a timely manner Maintain a log to record any discrepancies and condition issues with incoming shipments Implementing staff training to assist in accurately receiving inventory Organizing of warehouse and other storage locations to facilitate access to overstocked inventory, space optimization, and disposal of non-salvageable inventory Manage and train staff to conduct periodic inventory counts for accuracy and to prevent inventory issues such as theft and overselling. Facilitate the culture of consistent accuracy and process improvement Oversee physical storage, transfer, and handling of inventory: Maintain safe driving record Coordinate with staff at both locations, as well as use sales data to identify inventory that needs to be shuttled between locations. Shuttle needed stock, both new and used, as well as customer tunes. Assist in the procurement of new inventory to ensure optimum inventory levels: Assist in preseason orders to maximize purchasing discounts Consider growth and product line expansion Assisting with in season reorders to be done in a timely manner Responsible for safety and security of inventory to prevent theft and loss Maintain and update SOPs for Inventory Management. Skills and Qualifications Dependable and trustworthy, able to arrive on time Safety and security-minded Proficient computer skills such as MS office/spreadsheet & email Self-starter and hard worker for physical aspect of handling inventory Innovative problem solving Collaboration and cooperation with team members, effective communication with other managers and staff Safe driving record and the ability to safely drive a loaded van Able to safely and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds Positive attitude and excitement for ski industry This is a full-time year-round management position.
