Full-Time, Non-Exempt About the Role Brown & Haley is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Fife, Washington. This role is responsible for overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory management, and repack operations while fostering a culture centered on safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork. What You'll Do:
Warehouse Operations Lead daily shipping, receiving, repack, and inventory operations. Ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment for domestic, export, and outlet customers. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process improvements. Develop and maintain warehouse procedures that promote efficiency and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and reduce overtime. Coordinate warehouse maintenance and facility repairs with the maintenance team. Leadership & Team Development Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates. Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive work environment. Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safe work practices. Safety & Compliance Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company safety policies. Conduct safety training and reinforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Investigate incidents, complete accident reports, and partner with the Safety team on corrective actions. Maintain compliance with food safety, SQF, GMP, and warehouse quality standards. Oversee warehouse emergency preparedness, including evacuation plans, fire drills, and building safety systems.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 2 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience. Forklift Trainer Certification preferred. Experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes. Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of workplace safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Regular bending, reaching, balancing, and operating warehouse equipment. Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and sitting. Ability to work safely in an active warehouse environment.
