Operations Manager / Operations Director About the Role We are looking for a highly organized, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensure our event equipment, supplies, and inventory are always organized, accounted for, and ready to go. The Warehouse Manager will take ownership of event order preparation, inventory management, equipment tracking, warehouse purchasing, and tasting setups. This role works closely with the Operations team and plays a critical part in ensuring every event is properly equipped and executed. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment where priorities can change quickly. Key Responsibilities Event Packing & Order Preparation Stage and prepare event orders according to event requirements. Pack all event equipment and supplies accurately and efficiently. Verify that orders are complete and event-ready before leaving the warehouse. Coordinate with Operations regarding packing requirements and special requests. Identify and escalate shortages, missing items, or other issues to the Operations Director. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory of: China Glassware Silverware Smallwares Other warehouse supplies and equipment Monitor inventory levels and anticipate upcoming needs. Keep the warehouse organized, clean, accessible, and easy to navigate. Maintain a clear understanding of current inventory and equipment availability. Identify and communicate shortages, damaged items, and replacement needs. Warehouse Purchasing Manage ordering of warehouse goods and supplies. Monitor usage and inventory levels to prevent shortages. Ensure necessary supplies are available to support upcoming events and operations. Equipment & Fleet Management Maintain a thorough understanding of where company equipment is stored. Track equipment across company locations, including CEC, Stimson, and other locations . Maintain accurate equipment location records. Track company vans and maintain current van information. Coordinate van maintenance and service. Manage equipment repairs and maintenance (R&M). Identify damaged, missing, or unusable equipment and communicate needs to Operations. Ensure equipment is properly maintained, stored, and ready for use. Tasting Support Complete full tasting setups according to event requirements. Set up service areas and ensure all necessary equipment is in place. Stock beverage coolers and ensure tasting supplies are ready. Break down tastings and return all equipment and supplies to the warehouse. Ensure tasting equipment is properly cleaned, organized, and stored after use. What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proactive approach to identifying problems and finding solutions. Ability to work independently and take ownership of warehouse operations. Strong communication and coordination skills. Comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment. Previous warehouse, event operations, catering, hospitality, or logistics experience is a plus. Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload event equipment and supplies.
