Job Description

Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Trident is a privately held, 100 percent USA-owned company with global operations in 6 countries and serves customers in almost 60 countries. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington (USA), Trident employs approximately 7,700 people worldwide each year and partners with over 2,700 independent fishermen and crewmembers in Alaska. Trident catches and processes virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. The global supply chain also encompasses cultured and wild species sourced from an international network of trusted suppliers.
Summary:
The Warehouse Manager oversees inventory activities around purchased materials and finished goods in support of operations. This includes assessment of shipping and receiving, inventory counts and loss management, quality control, and oversight of Asset Management System. This position manages Inventory, Warehouse and Toolroom teams.
Essential Functions:
(Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs) Manages inventory of purchased indirect materials used in support of operations. Drives continuous improvement - Works with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement and develop/implement best practices/routines against Key Performance Indicators. Oversees the inventory management of tools, equipment, critical spares, and parts used to support vessel and facility-wide maintenance, engineering and operations. Identifies and resolves root causes of inventory losses, working with partners to problem solve and implement preventive measures. Coordinates and manages daily and perpetual physical cycle counting cadence, and monitors and reviews daily inventory adjustments and changes and reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress and procedural efficiency as requested. Resolves inventory discrepancies, problem orders and intercompany transfer issues. Analyzes and reports on inventory activities, cycle count processes, changes and variances, including trends and root cause analysis. Examines the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages while monitoring demand and analyzing data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. Ensures the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. Assists with the development, revision and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary. Travel/On-Call Requirements:
Travel up to 10% to plants/sites in alignment with key projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $90,000 to $112,500. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Required Qualifications:
(Education, Years of Experience, Certifications) A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production warehouse environment with duties that include shipping and receiving, warehouse and inventory management. A minimum of 2 years with prior supervisory or people leadership experience Experience with ERP and/or SAP HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education & Experiences:
Associate's degree in business, logistics, or supply chain or equivalent education and related experience. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory control, procurement workflows, requisition processing, warehousing, and inbound logistics. Working knowledge of
ERP/EAM/WMS
systems (e.g., SAP, EAM), inventory controls, financial impacts (working capital, cost-to-serve), and applicable safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including KPI management, root cause analysis, and the ability to drive data-based operational improvements. Ability to lead and develop teams while managing complex, high-volume operations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
