The Receiving Manager is someone who is extremely knowledgeable and has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in performing all receiving functions. The Receiving Manager's primary function is to oversee procedural compliance. Additionally, a Receiving Manager finds/explores new ways to increase accuracy and efficiency through training, auditing and procedural innovation. This position reports to the Store Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee procedural compliance in the Receiving department.
  • Verify fiscal compliance via credit process monitoring.
  • Explore/develop new opportunities to increase accuracy and efficiency through training, auditing and procedural innovation.
  • Support operations as a resource to resolve receiving challenges.
  • Execute/Participate in RECALL process as needed.
  • Execute/Participate in Audit process as needed and/or scheduled.
  • Enforce all Rouses Markets policies and procedures. Exhibit expertise in Receiving policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce safe operating policy and procedure is executed according to Rouses Markets SOP and Federal Regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate as needed and report findings to Store Director.
  • Collaborate with all departments as needed or directed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to effectively prioritize and re-prioritize work to meet multiple project deadlines. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Able to communicate confidently with all levels of company structure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Able to work at a desk for extended periods of time. Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
