Storeroom Assistant -

Materials Management SUMMARY:

To assist with the issuing and stocking of materials, customer service, and support of all hospital departments and clinics, and assist with stockroom duties needed.

BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards and policies. Required to work with the Director/Supervisor regularly to carry out, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Materials Management Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or

GED Experience:

A working knowledge of processing of supplies, preferably in a storeroom/warehouse environment, and knowledge of computers and related software.

Other:

Working knowledge of computers systems and related software. Able to meet deadlines and get the job done accurately while managing personal time.

Work Environment Hospital departments and patient areas, storeroom setting, all areas of the hospital, and clinic locations Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Storeroom Staff:

5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, days may vary.
