Supply Chain Manager

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to supply chain management, inventory management, and operations management. They will ensure effective communication and use analytical skills to support efficient supply chain operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain. Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company. Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production. Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes. Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution. Reviews cost proposals and pricing information. Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies. Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors. Compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded. Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met. Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate. Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy. Maintains database regarding vendors performance and quality of product(s). Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials. Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions. Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience in supply chain management Proficiency in inventory management Knowledge of operations management Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers. Ability to work with minimal to no supervision in a team and cross-functional environment both internally and externally. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Email, One Drive, Teams, SharePoint Experience with Microsoft Business Central (preferable) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
