Under the direction of the VP of Fresh Operations, the Director of Supply Chain provides end-to-end leadership and ownership of the supply chain to support harvest, production, storage, and distribution objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing a complex multi-product portfolio including fresh fruit, arils, juice, and concentrate operations across domestic and international markets.

The Director of Supply Chain Operations leads sourcing strategy, purchasing, production planning, storage management, logistics execution, and inventory control to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality product flow. This role integrates crop forecasting, production capacity, packaging requirements, warehouse strategy, and outbound distribution while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.

This individual will work cross-functionally with operations, production, growers, logistics providers, procurement teams, and external partners to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and supply chain optimization.

Compensation
  • $165,000
  • $185,000 Salary
  • which may include a discretionary bonus.
Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

Job DescriptionWhat our Director Of Supply Chain will do:

Own end-to-end supply chain planning from crop harvest through outbound distributionTranslate crop maturity data and forecasts into actionable supply, production, and distribution plans.

Drive a consistent delivery planning process that results in consistent and predictable execution around all aspects of PO management.

Align supply plans with operational capacity, storage availability, and customer demandDevelop predictive planning models and maintain in-season operational forecasting toolsLead sourcing and procurement strategy across domestic and international suppliersOversee purchasing team activities and daily procurement operationsEstablish long-term supplier contracts and strategic sourcing initiativesPartner with QA to ensure supplier compliance and product quality standardsIntegrate packaging supply chain planning into procurement and production strategiesServe as an active member of the TWC Global Purchasing BoardDrive international sourcing strategies aligned with production and customer demand requirementsOversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping activitiesManage inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, traceability, and inventory optimizationLead storage strategy across internal facilities and third-party logistics (3PL) partnersOptimize storage utilization, product quality, and shelf-life managementAlign storage and logistics plans with harvest timing and production schedulesManage relationships, contracts, and service levels with logistics providers and 3PL partnersDrive vendor performance management and continuous improvement initiativesOversee supplier qualification processes and quality standards throughout the supply chainOversee the complete transportation lifecycle for both inbounds and outboundsEnsure compliance with domestic and international food safety, regulatory, and export requirementsTrack and analyze KPIs, including service levels, inventory performance, productivity, and supply chain costsImplement analytics, reporting tools, and productivity systems to improve operational decision-makingLead, mentor, and develop supply chain and procurement teamsDrive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functionsTravel to fields, production facilities, and third-party logistics sites as requiredQualificationsSkills & experience that are necessary as our Director Of Supply Chain will include, but not be limited to:

Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations within agricultural, food manufacturing, or processing environmentsStrong financial skills and knowledge, including the ability to use factual data to make decisions and ensure profitabilityStrong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audienceStrong ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers.

Advanced knowledge of supply planning, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management processesExperience translating crop maturity and harvest forecasts into operational production and distribution plansStrong understanding of inventory management, FIFO practices, traceability, and storage optimizationHands-on experience managing third-party logistics providers and outside warehouse operationsExperience with bin management programs and seasonal production environmentsAdvanced analytical, reporting, and data visualization skills to support operational decision-makingExperience implementing and managing productivity tracking and operational performance metricsStrong leadership, coaching, communication, and vendor negotiation skillsAbility to communicate complex operational concepts to diverse audiences and cross-functional teamsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilitiesAbility to build collaborative relationships across departments, suppliers, and logistics partnersAbility to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, and BI systems used in manufacturing and agricultural operationsAbility to read, write, and speak English effectively and collaborate with multilingual teamsWillingness and ability to travel to field locations, production facilities, and third-party warehouse sites as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Agriculture, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 8-10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably within agriculture, food, or manufacturing environments. Experience with field-based remote sensing technologies or similar agricultural planning models preferred.
