In this role, you will manage shipment scheduling, carrier communication, dispatch coordination, and operational performance to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. This position is ideal for someone with strong logistics experience, leadership abilities, and a passion for transportation operations. Responsibilities Supervise daily freight and dispatch operations to ensure efficient shipment management Coordinate with drivers, brokers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment schedules and updates Monitor freight movements and proactively resolve delays, service issues, and operational challenges Maintain accurate records of freight documentation, invoices, rate confirmations, and reports Assist with route planning, scheduling, and load optimization strategies Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company procedures Support operational reporting, KPI tracking, and process improvement initiatives Train and support dispatch and logistics staff as needed Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships Requirements Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight operations, or dispatching required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics software Strong attention to detail and operational efficiency Preferred Qualifications Experience with DAT, Truckstop, McLeod, or similar freight management platforms Knowledge of DOT compliance, fleet coordination, and transportation regulations Experience supervising transportation or logistics personnel Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) is a plus Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $27 - $31 per hour (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Career advancement and professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Everest Freight Carriers Inc.?
