Job Description

We own the full robotics stack from high-performance hardware and robot systems to the infrastructure and state-of-the-art foundation world models that control our robots. Our robots are designed to be generalists capable of operating in complex, real-world environments and handling long-tail edge cases, made possible by our cutting edge research and end-to-end system design. We've raised over $450M and are investing aggressively in model research, infrastructure, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up to make generalist robotics a reality. Role Overview We are looking for someone who thrives in a schedule-driven New Product Introduction (NPI) environment and is comfortable in a startup environment with partial information and quick decision-making — landing hardware on immovable bring-up and build dates. You source new suppliers, expedite purchase orders (POs), and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) with Engineering teams holding vendors and suppliers accountable. This role reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain. Core responsibilities The SCM will manage procurement processes, source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of materials, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production and operational needs. Drive daily actions to clear shortages, expedite with suppliers, and protect integration timeline Reduce total cost, lead time, and risk. Follow POs through delivery and payment Track On time delivery and reporting records Negotiate Supplier terms and conditions Qualifications 5+ years of Sourcing / procurement /related experience, ideally in a startup environment Strong execution under pressure with clear written/oral communication, reliable follow-through, and the Judgment to escalate early to protect schedule. Comfortable executing while building structure and processes Strong procurement, vendor management, and negotiation skills Experience with supply chain management and inventory control Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using procurement software Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bonus extras Experience in consumer, mobility, or medical device industries Experience reducing purchase-price variance (PPV) without increasing risk Advanced spreadsheet/cost-modeling skills. Experience building a motor / mechanical supply chain
