Review and manage physical inventory count processes to ensure counts are accurate, complete, and efficient. Maintain a cycle count schedule and ensure timely completion of cycle counts and year-end inventory counts. Perform spot checks of inventory counts and validate physical inventory against Epicor records. Ensure item substitutions, SKU replacements, and alternate parts are properly allocated to work orders and accurately reflected in the system. Review inventory on a consistent basis for obsolete, expired, damaged, or slow-moving material and communicate findings to upper management. Facilitate month-end inventory closing and reporting, including providing accurate inventory reports to Accounting. Identify recurring inventory issues and develop process improvements to prevent repeated discrepancies. Train and guide employees on proper inventory control procedures, material handling practices, bin location usage, and system transaction requirements.
