Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Newbury Park, CA with a high-volume clothing and textile manufacturing operation. This warehouse-based leadership role is responsible for full ownership of inventory control across multiple warehouse locations with more than 1 million units. This is an excellent opportunity for an Inventory Manager who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, solving inventory challenges, improving processes, training teams, and creating strong operational discipline. The role offers high visibility with operations leadership and the ability to directly improve inventory accuracy, warehouse flow, location control, cycle count performance, and team accountability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented inventory leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment and values structure, teamwork, follow-through, and measurable results. This environment is well suited for someone who wants to partner closely with warehouse leadership, strengthen procedures across departments, and help build a more accurate, efficient, and accountable inventory operation. Key Responsibilities
  • Own inventory accuracy across multiple warehouse locations, including active pick, reserve, bulk, overflow, transfer, and non-pickable inventory areas.
  • Lead cycle counts, physical counts, location audits, movement audits, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Review inventory movement history to confirm system transactions match the true physical flow of inventory throughout the warehouse operation.
  • Investigate shortages, overages, missing units, incorrect locations, unexplained adjustments, movement errors, and recurring process failures.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to correct root causes, improve inventory flow, reduce unnecessary touches, and strengthen location discipline.
  • Build, train, lead, and hold the inventory team accountable for daily execution, count accuracy, system transactions, escalation procedures, and inventory standards. Compensation and Benefits

    $100,000 to $120,000 per year, DOE
