Manage logistics inventory management, materials handling, demand planning, and production planning to ensure optimal stock levels across all categories. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable contracts, pricing, and delivery terms while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Coordinate cross-functional communication among procurement, warehouse operations, finance, and merchandising teams to streamline workflows. Supervise forklift operation and heavy lifting tasks ensuring safety compliance; oversee shipping & receiving activities for timely order fulfillment. Perform financial analysis related to inventory valuation, cost control, and supply chain analytics to support strategic planning. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supply chain roles with a strong background in warehouse operations, logistics inventory management, and materials handling. Demonstrated expertise in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400 or SAP), SQL for data collection and analysis, Excel data analysis skills, and inventory management software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, demand planning, and data analytics to inform strategic decisions. Experience negotiating contracts with suppliers or vendors; familiarity with sourcing strategies is highly desirable. Hands-on experience operating forklifts; safety certifications preferred. Knowledge of procurement processes, category management principles, and supply chain analytics including demand forecasting and production planning. Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
