PURCHASER
Own the materials pipeline that keeps a luxury shop running. McKenzie Craft fabricates custom millwork out of our 25,000 sq ft shop in Miami. We are looking for a Purchaser to manage procurement end to end — sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and making sure the right stock is on the floor before production needs it. What you will do Run day-to-day purchasing to support the production schedule Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, availability, and reliability, and negotiate terms accordingly Create, issue, and manage purchase orders, verified against approved material lists and specifications Coordinate deliveries and resolve shipping and supply issues as they surface Attend weekly production meetings to forecast material needs and catch shortages early Maintain and audit the materials library, inventory tracking systems, and purchasing reports Process daily credit card receipts and enter invoices into financial software Keep documentation clean across takeoffs, purchase orders, shipping ETAs, delivery routes, and shipping tickets What you bring Experience in purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills Knowledge of architectural millwork and casework products preferred High school diploma or equivalent Clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs in a shop environment Salaried, exempt. Reports to the Plant Manager.
