Full-time Full-time Description:
Exalt Health, an acute rehabilitation hospital, provides an intensive rehabilitation program and admitted patients must be able to tolerate three hours of intense rehabilitation services per day. Focused on caring for patients with complex rehabilitative needs such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, head trauma, medically debilitation conditions, neurological disorders, cardio-pulmonary amputations, orthopedic injuries, and multiple major traumas.

This position is considered to have the opportunity for routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens in the normal performance of job duties. Position Summary In this critical role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of medical and office supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with department heads to identify and forecast inventory needs. Research and source cost-effective medical and office supplies from approved vendors. Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against packing slips. Maintain accurate and organized inventory records using a computerized inventory management system. Stock and distribute supplies to designated locations throughout the hospital. Implement cost-saving measures to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste. Manage returns of unused or inaccurately ordered supplies. Track and communicate the status of recalled medical supplies. Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and procedures related to materials management.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education, Training, and Experience High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in a materials management or purchasing role, preferably within a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices. Skills and Abilities, Proficiency and Productivity Standards Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects, accurately completing job responsibilities within the specified time constraints. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Speaks and communicates English effectively in verbal and written format; writes legibly. Reading and comprehension at the level necessary to perform job duties appropriately.
