Logistics and Production Manager

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Logistics and Production Manager in Duluth, GA for a leading manufacturing company. This role will oversee production planning, logistics, warehouse operations, SAP reporting, inventory control, and team leadership. In this Logistics and Production Manager role, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and executing production plans and schedules
• Managing daily production, shipping, and warehouse operations
• Leading and mentoring production and shipping team members
• Overseeing inventory control, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and warehouse layout
• Using SAP to manage stock movements, production flow, sales orders, purchasing needs, and reporting
• Analyzing KPIs including inventory turnover, schedules, safety stock, and freight costs
• Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, internal departments, and international manufacturing teams
• Creating and managing reports related to sales, inventory, production, and customer demand
• Improving logistics, shipping, and production processes through SAP tools What we're looking for:
• SAP experience required
• Stock management and administration experience
• 3-5 years of management experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example
• Ability to collaborate across departments
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in production, logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain environments
