Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions is the domestic leader in the development of custom industrial X-Ray systems. Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions serves a diverse range of industries including aerospace, automotive, electronics, military, and others. At Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions, you will play a key role in the construction and implementation of these mission critical non-destructive testing systems. 1 Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments of equipment, components, raw materials, and service parts to support production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Prepare finished equipment and parts for shipment by selecting proper packaging, building or coordinating crates, securing loads, labeling items, and protecting products from damage.
  • Create and maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, packing lists, carrier documents, and internal material-movement records.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, obtain freight quotes, track shipments, and communicate status or delays to operations, purchasing, project teams, and customers.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and accurate inventory locations; perform cycle counts, investigate variances, and support periodic physical inventories.
  • Stage and issue materials to production and project teams based on bills of materials, work orders, and priority requirements.
  • Identify material shortages, damaged items, and schedule risks; coordinate corrective action with purchasing, engineering, production, and project management.
  • Receive incoming materials and equipment; verify quantities and condition against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documentation; identify discrepancies or damage and coordinate resolution with Purchasing and Quality.
  • Process material receipts promptly and accurately in the company ERP/accounting system and ensure materials are assigned to the correct inventory, project, work order, or storage location.
  • Coordinate international shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, harmonized tariff information, country-of-origin information, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Support export-control and shipping-compliance requirements by ensuring required documentation and approvals are obtained before controlled or international shipments are released.
  • Monitor freight costs and carrier performance; identify opportunities to reduce transportation and packaging costs and assist with carrier selection and freight negotiations.
  • Coordinate return shipments and RMAs, including customer returns, supplier returns, warranty/service materials, and damaged freight claims.
  • Monitor and support key materials and logistics performance measures, including inventory accuracy, on-time shipment performance, receiving accuracy, freight costs, material shortages, and shipping damage.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other approved material-handling equipment in accordance with training and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, secure, and efficient shipping and receiving area while following company procedures, quality standards, and applicable transportation and safety requirements. 2 Entry Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing logistics preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read purchase orders, bills of materials, packing lists, shipping documents, and basic engineering or assembly documentation.
  • Experience preparing domestic freight shipments, including palletized, crated, oversized, or high-value industrial equipment.
  • Forklift certification preferred; must be able to obtain company-required material-handling equipment certification.
  • Valid driver's license required; ability to meet company and customer requirements for occasional local transportation or delivery support.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise or a similar ERP/inventory system preferred.
  • Experience with international shipping, freight forwarding, customs documentation, and export-controlled products preferred. 3 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory-control, material-staging, and warehouse-organization practices.
  • Ability to accurately count, inspect, label, package, and document materials and finished goods.
  • Working knowledge of common freight methods, carrier requirements, bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment tracking.
  • Proficiency with inventory or ERP systems, barcode tools, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent material needs, coordinate multiple shipments, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills for working with carriers, suppliers, customers, purchasing, production, engineering, and project teams.
  • Ability to use tape measures, scales, basic hand and power tools, packaging equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists safely.

  • Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping environment, with occasional work outdoors or at carrier and customer locations.
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and move throughout storage, production, and loading areas.
  • Frequently handle packages, tools, components, and materials; safely lift and move up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with approved assistance or lifting equipment.
  • Work around forklifts, trucks, loading docks, cranes, hoists, and large industrial equipment while using required personal protective equipment.
  • Occasional overtime or schedule flexibility may be required to meet production, pickup, delivery, or customer deadlines.
