Full Job Description Position Title :
Production Planning Stipend :
$60K-80K/year Responsibilities :
1. Production Management Production Planning & Execution Develop and finalize production schedules based on daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans. Analyze actual production performance vs. planned targets and identify discrepancies Evaluate actual Cycle Time (CT) and production efficiency compared to standards to optimize production plans. Process Monitoring & Optimization Identify process defects and improvement areas to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance productivity. Collaborate with production engineering, equipment, and workforce teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. Raw Material & Packaging Management Plan and track PKG and raw material supply based on production schedules (PDT-based backward calculation). Register and manage new raw materials and packaging items in the SAP system Inventory Control & Data Accuracy Compare ERP system inventory with physical stock and analyze discrepancies Real-time Data Input & Parallel Management 2. Material Management Raw Material Procurement & Purchasing Management Forecast and secure packaging (PKG) and raw material requirements based on production plans. Manage and update vendor lists, including sourcing new suppliers. Create Purchase Orders (PO) and process invoices (incorporating MOQ and pricing into SAP). Supply Schedule & Variability Management Establish and track material supply schedules (PDT tracking, domestic & international follow-up). Apply lead time and price adjustments based on market changes. Review and manage shelf life standards for raw materials. Collaboration with R D and Production Teams Calculate raw material costs after receiving the final formula. Generate and apply Material Bill of Materials (MBOM) in SAP after formula confirmation. Monthly Closing & Data Validation Ensure timely processing of PO/Invoice entries and SAP MM closing. Verify material flow data and identify any pending issues before month-end. 3. SAP Operation (Refer to SAP Flow Chart) Material Master Set up Material Registriation BOM Set-up Source List and Infor Rec. PO Creation and Payment ETC Accounting & Data Entry Management Input and process production and material-related PO and invoices in the SAP system Master Data Management Create and maintain Master Data based on Procedures and Supply Chain Flow Ensure data accuracy and updates aligned with overall operational processes Logistics & Shipment Management Manage logistics schedules and oversee the finished goods shipping process Track pallet quantities and validate SAP Sales Order data before shipment Vendor & Equipment Sourcing Management Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for equipment and materials Conduct vendor look-up, site visits, request quotations, and review contractsQualifications :

1. Production Operations Production Planning & Execution Plan and manage monthly/weekly production schedules Adjust schedules flexibly based on material supply and equipment status Analyze performance vs. plan and drive improvements Process Operation & Improvement Oversee day-to-day operations in production lines (mixing, filling, packaging, etc.) Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., reducing defects, increasing efficiency) Maintain and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Manpower Management & Training Plan daily operator assignments per production needs Conduct onboarding and regular safety/quality training Monitor performance and provide feedback to team members Equipment & Safety Management Conduct regular inspections of production equipment Enforce safety protocols and improve working environment Documentation & Quality Coordination Prepare and manage production records, batch reports Work with QC team to verify inspection results and resolve issues Participate in CAPA, change control, and quality-related discussions Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and R D teams Report KPIs, production status, and issues to management Support pilot runs and discussions for new product launches 2. Process Technology (Manufacturing Engineering) Technical Process Support & Improvement Review and support production processes by line Optimize and maintain equipment conditions (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) Troubleshoot and provide solutions for process issues (e.g., separation, viscosity) Develop and update process SOPs and conditions Mass Production Feasibility Review Collaborate with R D to assess mass production feasibility of new formulas Lead tests from lab scale to pilot batch and full-scale production Record test results and analyze process stability Monitor formula behavior during scale-up and implement corrective actions Equipment & Process Optimization Evaluate compatibility between formulations and equipment specifications Assist with setup and testing of mixers, homogenizers, and filling machines Adjust settings in case of filling failures or emulsification issues Conduct technical tests for new equipment installations Cross-Team Support & Training Collaborate with production and quality teams for ongoing improvements Provide technical support during production issues Conduct technical training and communicate process changes to operatorsQualifications :
