Position:
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to add to our growing team within our manufacturing facility, the job will be on-site in our West Burlington plant. The candidate will be in a leadership position within the Logistic department, primarily responsible of outgoing logistic (sales logistic: invoicing and shipping to the customers and managing our stock). This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications & Skills:
Candidate should possess a positive attitude and be willing to work independently as well as with all members of the team. Candidate should be communicative, energetic, punctual and open to growth and development. Candidate should be capable to write procedures in conjunction with other departments and have continuous improvement mindset about new tools and processes flow. High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of shipping/receiving Advanced knowledge of Excel and computer skills required Knowledge of inventory Knowledge of packaging Knowledge of 5S Knowledgeable with production planning Knowledgeable of ERP systems, AS400 preferred, or SAP Knowledgeable of invoicing Excellent attention to details, accuracy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, establish work priorities, and manage time effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively Previous leadership and supervisory experience required Valid Driver's License required Ability to obtain Fork Truck License (at company's expense) Ability to drive a box truck Manufacturing experience required Willing to do overtimes / stay longer when shipping duties require it Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Tracking loads/shipment activities and maintaining accurate records into computer inventory system, load completed production orders in our ERP system and generate invoices to customers. Sub-assembly inputting, scrap write off from ERP system Prepare Shipping Documents, work on customer portals and create ASN Production orders monitoring Stock movements for write offs / inventory adjustments / quality issues & substitution's with daily log updated for monthly inventory write off/ on cost totals. Back up & assistance for other logistic team members Lead our manufacturing plant and warehouse logistic operations and team Work on tools and procedures improvement Monitor stock obsolescence End of Yead inventory, work with PWC Occasional lifting up to 50+ lbs
Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
