Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and foster strong relationships with suppliers to maintain a well-stocked, cost-effective inventory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic parts operation within a fast-paced automotive environment, emphasizing customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and stock control using inventory management systems. Lead procurement activities by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories, negotiating pricing, terms, and supplier agreements to maximize value. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and mechanical understanding to verify parts compatibility and quality for automotive service needs. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors. Strong supplier management experience with a track record of successful negotiation and vendor relationship building. Hands-on knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing procedures, inventory control systems, and logistics inventory management tools. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, vehicle systems understanding, and OEM parts sourcing is highly desirable. Knowledge of procurement management practices including demand planning and pricing strategies to optimize inventory levels while controlling costs. Mechanical aptitude combined with automotive service knowledge to support parts compatibility assessments and troubleshooting.
