With numerous branch offices in Asia and the United States and aprehensive global agencywork, our business activities continue to expand and grow worldwide.
STATION MANAGER
will be responsible for all aspects office & logistics operation including, but not limited to: Import and Export Ocean & Air operations Sales/Customer Service Warehousing operations Negotiate rates with carriers/vendors Leverage relations with overseas agents/partner/clients Key account management Hire, train, manager, guide, support, and motivate staff Understand, address, and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day operation according to Company Policy & State Regulations Promote culture of positive and exemplary customer service Human Resources Communicate with Upper Management on various business actions
Pay and Benefits:
Salary:
$80,000 to start Company provide Heath insurance,401K& Matching, Dental , Vision, and paid time off.
Requirements:
Extensive Import operation knowledge required (Consol/FCL) Minimum of 4 years of NVOCC/freight forwarding industry with management experience Exceptionalmunication skills (verbal, written, presentations) Proficientputer skills: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF,& Outlook) Strong leadership ability to include employee engagement/team building. Strong ability to develop, coach, train, and mentor staff to success Ability to take ownership and drive station solutions independently Sales-focused; can balance the needs of current clients while bringing new business on board Ability to handle day-to-day issues pertaining to specific shipments, clients, personnel management, and general branch activities. Familiar withpliance and regulatory requirements Must have detail knowledge of Cargowise software
