Supply Chain Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies tailored to the specific needs of the business segment to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.Operational Management:
Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution to meet business objectives.Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and effectiveness.Vendor and Partner Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and high service standards.Cross Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and product development to align supply chain activities with overall business goals and drive integrated solutions.Key Skills:
Strategic Planning:
Develops and implements comprehensive supply chain strategies, specific to Service organizations. Supporting Spare part supply, MRO supply and inventory replenishment strategies to support the business segment's objectives and drive overall performance.Supply Chain Optimization:
Analyzes and enhances supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.Leadership and Team Management:
Leads, motivates, and manages the Services supply chain team, including indirect tooling and chemical buyers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members achieve their professional goals.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Utilizes data driven approaches to identify issues within the supply chain and develops effective solutions to address them.Financial Acumen:
Manages budgets, forecasts financial performance, and ensures cost effective operations within the supply chain.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Facilitates clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization and with external partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration.Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and quality supply chain operations.Technology Proficiency:
Utilizes supply chain management software and other relevant technologies to streamline operations and enhance data analysis capabilities.Risk Management:
Identifies potential risks in the supply chain and develops strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity and resilience of operations.Project Management:
Plans, executes, and oversees supply chain projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet the desired objectives.Other Qualifications:
Preferred experience in managing repair services or service-oriented businesses. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
