Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Automotive Parts Manager to oversee the parts department at our dealership. The Parts Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers while ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and timely delivery of parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the parts department operations, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking parts. Ensure parts are available to meet customer needs and dealership requirements in a timely manner. Supervise and train parts department staff, fostering a team-oriented environment. Develop and implement parts department processes and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Provide excellent customer service by addressing parts inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner. Monitor department budget, achieving financial targets, and reporting on sales performance. Maintain accurate parts records, including warranties and customer orders. Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure a seamless operation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within an automotive dealership. In-depth knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and terminology. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to analyze data and manage inventory effectively. Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or industry certification preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Why Join Us?
