: Secret clearance required Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeymen Logistics Manager to directly support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the Cyber and Networks Directorate and located at at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Years of Experience:
At least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD. OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Capable of identifying critical logistics requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services) needed to support the assigned effort. Proficient Microsoft office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Familiarity with defense acquisition management in accordance with the DoD 5000. Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis Familiarity with the logistics integrated product support model outlined in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Capable of leading and completing complex projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, advising, and aligning logistics requirements with applicable policy, procedures, and guidance Ensuring Asset Management and Material Accountability are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance Supporting supply chain risk management to ensure supply chain assurance processes are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance Accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment Supporting or leading development /update of Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) Implementing and managing a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) program
