Jobs › Milford, MA › Supply Chain Materials Manager Insight Global Supply Chain Materials Manager Milford, MA Apply Job Description We are seeking a Supply Chain Materials Manager who is responsible for ensuring the hospital system has the medical supplies, equipment, and materials needed to support patient care while managing inventory, costs, and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities
  • Managing inventory levels for medical and surgical supplies.
  • Overseeing purchasing and procurement processes.
  • Coordinating with vendors and distributors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitoring stock levels and preventing shortages of critical supplies.
  • Managing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and replenishment activities across hospitals and clinics.
  • Analyzing supply utilization, spend, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Supporting contract compliance and sourcing initiatives.
  • Working closely with clinical staff, finance teams, and hospital leadership to meet operational needs.
  • Leading materials management staff such as buyers, inventory coordinators, receiving teams, supply chain coordinators, and warehouse personnel.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain, materials management, procurement, inventory management, or hospital operations.
  • Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, receiving, replenishment, and vendor management.
  • Experience analyzing inventory utilization, supply spend, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance and sourcing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in ERP and supply chain systems (Workday).
